Courses in English for International Students

Question: I'm currently studying an undergraduate bachelor of arts with a concurrent diploma of languages in Chinese at the University of Melbourne. I'm interested in studying at the St Petersburg State University for either a semester or a year and I'd love more information about which courses are taught in English as I had trouble finding webpages in English on your university website. I'm specifically interested in the faculties of Art History, Sociology, Chinese and the subject of Marketing. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The answer of Vice Rector of Academic Affairs Marina Lavrikova: SPbU holds admission to non-degree tuition-free education on the basis of the agreements between SPbU and home organization or directives of the Russian Federation public authorities. At the moment there is no bilateral agreement between SPbU and Melbourne University. You can be accepted to non-degree studies in SPbU only as a fee-paying student.
Additional information on the cost of education and admission procedures of the exchange programme on tuition fee (contractual) basis can be found on the website. You can also contact SPbU Academic Mobility Department, contact person: Anna Porodina, tel.: +7-812-3287562, e-mail: a.porodina@spbu.ru).
All main educational Bachelor and most of Master programmes in SPbU are instructed in Russian. In English you can find the following main educational Master programmes: "Sociology" (Global Sociology: Comparative Prospects", "European Communities"), "Management ("Corporate Finances", "Informational Technologies and Innovative Management").
