Question: I just received an email from our University (Comenius University in Bratislava) that you are still seeking for some international PhD students, since you have still some empty spots. I am fresh graduated student in Biotechnology and I am very interested into further study. I have already 2 years laboratory experiences from school lab. I know, that the dead line for the applications is by tomorrow. I could send you the whole documentation, but there is also the invitation letter from your university needed.
Can I ask you, if there us any chance I could get this letter, or who do I need to contat to get this letter?
I am very interested into the study at your University, therefore I am haveing so many questions.

The answer of Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs Marina Lavrikova: Thank you for your interest towards SPbU. As follows from your question, you’re going to study in SPbU within the academic mobility programme
ERANET-PLUS which allows graduate and postgraduate students from foreign universities to study in the Russian Federation higher education institutes as exchange students. However, SPbU doesn’t take part in the current application round for long-term ERANET-PLUS grants for postgraduate students. Therefore, you can’t study in SPbU under ERANET-PLUS programme.
At the same time, foreign citizens have a right to apply to SPbU main educational postgraduate programmes (aspirantura) apart from the mentioned academic mobility programmes. Documents admission to SPbU in 2013 is conducted from 08.07 to 19.08 (to 12:00 am Moscow time). Entrance examinations will be conducted from 20 to 29 August. In 2013 SPbU will be conducting admission, among others, to the main educational postgraduate programme “Biotechnology”.
