Question: This is Iranian student study in doctor of dental medicine in the Philippines (6 years) . I finished 2nd year of proper(DDM2), God willing go to clinic 1. Please could you guide me? I would like to study in your dentistry college, I have some questions:
Is it possible to English?
How much tuition fee for one semester or one year?
Is it the same as DDM or DMD? or different?
When is deadline for enrollment FOR NEXT SEMESTER?

The answer of Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs Marina Lavrikova: According to article 7.3 (1) of “Rules of Education in SPbU on Main Educational Programmes of Higher and Secondary Education” a student of higher educational institute can be transferred to SPbU only in case the institution where the student is studying is included in the list of higher education institutions approved by the Decree of the Russian Federation Government dated 21.05.2012 №811-р “On Confirmation of the List of Foreign Educational Organizations Issuing Foreign Countries Documents on Education and (or) Qualification That Can Be Acknowledged in the Russian Federation” and there is an agreement on student exchange. As higher institutions of Philippines aren’t included in the list, you can’t be transferred to SPbU. At the same time you can apply to SPbU main educational specialist’s programme “Dentistry”.

Language of instruction on main educational Specialist’s programmes is Russian. Information on Russian language courses can be found here.
In 2012/2013 the tuition fee for main educational Specialist’s programme “Dentistry” for foreign citizens was 225 000 rubles. Information on tuition fees for the year 2013/2014 will be published on the official SPbU website not later than 01.06.2013.
After graduation from main educational Specialist’s programme “Dentistry” you will get the degree “Specialist (Doctor)”.
What concerns getting the Doctor of Sciences degree, according to the Order of Ministry for Education dated 27.03.1998 № 814 “On Confirmation of Regulations of Research and Educational Staff in the System of Postgraduate Professional Education in the Russian Federation” only those having a degree of Candidate of Science can apply for the degree of Doctor of Science. Thus, getting a degree of Doctor of Science after graduation from main educational Specialist’s programme is not possible.
