English Question: I am a Pharm D student doing 3rd year at DOW University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. I wish to somehow get an admission to your university to complete my degree so that I can settle and work in Russia.
I have currently completed 5 semesters and covered physiology biochemistry, organic chemistry, pathology, physical pharmacy, pharmaceutics, dispensing, pharmacognosy, pharmacology.
my gpa average is 3.08. i have done my O'levels under affliation of The Cambridge university of England I have done my college with premedical subjects and for the past 2.5 years i've been enrolled at DUHS, for pharmacy.
I heartily wish to join your university. Russia- it makes me speechless I want to study here, and work - make a life overhere, get into research, avail opportunities as i know that will be given here and no where else. Madam Lavrikova. please tell me how can i come and study in SPbU? The tution fee here in my country is getting unpayable. I dont want to waste my life. Please help me. Guide me.
The answer of Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs Marina Lavrikova: According to the information you provided you’re studying at the Bachelor level and have completed 5 study semesters out of 10. Your educational level can be evaluated only on basis of your educational documents. All educational documents that are submitted to SPbU for applying to educational programmes of any level have to be translated into Russian and duly certified. Also the documents of the applicant for a certain educational level have to be recognized in the Russian Federation as documents that enable to get education of the certain level. More detailed information about documents recognition procedure can be found on the official SPbU website, “Admission to SPbU” section, “Foreign Citizens Admission” subsection.
If you’re planning to continue your Bachelor course in SPbU you can apply for 2nd or further years of study. More detailed information about the procedure of application to 2nd or further years can be found in the Rules of Admission to SPbU in 2013 which are published on SPbU official website in the “Admission to SPbU” section. Rules of Admission to SPbU in 2014 will be published on the above mentioned website not later than 01.02.2014.
If you’re interested in postgraduate (aspirantura) education in SPbU after graduating from the university you’re studying at, after translating your educational documents and their recognition for admission to SPbU you’ll have to pass entrance exams and win the competition. Rules of Admission to SPbU postgraduate (aspirantura) programmes are published annually on the official SPbU website in the “Admission to SPbU” section.
