English Question:I am an international student from Nigeria. I will like to join the school soon, what are the requirement to study medicine?
The answer of Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs Marina Lavrikova: Foreign citizens can apply for studying in SPbU at the expense of the Federal budget of the Russian Federation on basis of assignment letters issued by the Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science, or for places providing for tuition fee payment. Application documents of foreign citizens who need entry visas for admission to SPbU on fee-paying (contractual) basis was held from 01.03.2013 to 21.07.2013. Application period for those who applied to studying in SPbU at the expense of the Federal budget was held from 01.03.2013 to 30.06.2013. Rules of Admission to SPbU in 2014 will be published on SPbU official website (Admission Committee webpage) not later than 01.02.2014.
In 2013 foreign citizens who applied to SPbU on budgetary basis had to submit a motivation letter and an essay. Applicants to main educational Specialist's programme "Medical Business" on fee-paying basis had to pass the following exams in oral and written forms: Russian language, Chemistry, Biology.
