Question: I am dentistry student at final year in turkey . I want to carry on my education in St. petersburg uni . I have searched but I didnt find PhD programs in dentistry . What are the PhD programs ın dentistry? Do I have to recognised my diploma before to study PhD ?
The answer of Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs Marina Lavrikova: In 2012 SPbU held admission to the main educational programme of postgraduate professional education (aspirantura) “Dentistry”. Rules of Admission to SPbU aspirantura in 2013 will be published on SPbU official website in the near future.
As at the moment there is no agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the Russian Federation on mutual recognition of documents on education, you will have to have your educational documents recognized. Information on the procedure of recognition can be found here (http://www.glavex.ru/ru/).
Language of instruction at the main educational programme “Dentistry” now is only English.
