English Question: Right now I am planning for my PhD and I would be interested doing PhD in Russia. I have read some information in your university website.
I have some interested topics for my research at the SPbU as bellow:
1. Research - Virtual Museum ( based my master topics "Virtual Museum of Indonesia" and project "Virtual Museum and Learning Institute")
2. Research - Android Operating System for Satellite (right now I am a lecturer too and focus on Android Programming)
3. IT Security (I am interested about security too, and I think Russia it's better for it)
For that reason, I need kindly advise and suggestion from you.
The answer of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ekaterina Babelyuk: Questions concerning admission of foreign citizens to PhD programmes at SPbU have been already asked via the Virtual reception. The answers can be found here. Carrying out of the research on 'Virtual Museum' at SPbU is possible in the frameworks of the main educational program of postgraduate professional education 'The system analysis, management and information processing' (specialty 05.13.01 'The system analysis, management and information processing'). Conducting research on security in IT is possible in the frameworks of the main educational program of postgraduate professional education 'Mathematical modeling and control systems' (specialty 05.13.11 'Software of computers, complexes and computer networks'). Academic advisory in interesting fields is carried out by the professors of SPbU, programm 'Applied mathematics – control processes', Department of Programming technologies.
PhD programmes implying research on the Android operating system for the satellite are not implemented at SPbU at the moment.
