Question: I am the student of Language Preparation Program from Indonesia. I got the scholarship from the Russian Ministry of Education to fulfill my study in Russia. I am now studying Russian language at Tula State Pedagogical University, Tula-Russia. Unfortunately I don't find any of my speciality in Magister Program here. My speciality is Language Interpretation. Would you kindly give me information of this major in your university. thanks.
The answer of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ekaterina Babelyuk: In 2012 the following majors – ‘Translation Theory and Intercultural Communication: English’, ‘Translation Theory and Intercultural Communication: German’, ‘Translation Theory and Intercultural Communication: Spanish’, ‘Translation Theory and Intercultural Communication: French’ – were realized within the main educational bachelor programme ‘Linguistics’.
To enter SPbU on budgetary basis you need to contact the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation again or submit your documents directly to SPbU to take part in a contest for foreign citizens and Russian Federation citizens living abroad, which is carried out by SPbU independently.
The information on foreign citizens admission to SPbU in 2013 will be published on the official website of the SPbU Admission Commission in February or March 2013.
