The answer of Vice Rector for Research Sergey P. Tunik:
Pursuant to your request, we inform you on the following.
Saint Petersburg University offers individuals with a higher education an additional educational programme titled “Teacher of Physical Culture and Sports at Higher Education Institutions”. This programme provides for lectures and seminars in the following academic subjects: “Didactics of Higher Education Institutions” (20 hours); “Theory and Methods of Physical Culture and Sports” (30 hours); “Methods of Teaching Physical Culture and Sports at Higher Education Institutions” (20 hours); “The Legal Framework of Teacher's Educational Activity” (20 hours); “Sport Psychology” (20 hours); “Basic Types of Physical Culture and Sports” (30 hours); “Organisation of Physical Culture and Sports at Higher Education Institutions” (36 hours); “Student Sport at Higher Education Institutions” (20 hours). Admission to this programme will be organised in December 2015. The programme is taught in Russian. The classes will start on 1 February, 2016.
In November 2015 the following additional professional educational programmes will start at Saint Petersburg University: “Application of Health Saving Technologies in Educational Process” (72 hours) and “Organisation of Physical Culture and Sports at Specialised Sports Clubs and in Local Communities” (72 hours).
In November 2015 Saint Petersburg University will host the All-Russian Applied Science Conference “Physical Culture and Sports in the System of Education in Russia: Innovations and Development Prospects”. This conference gathers international participants.
To receive an invitation, you must send us a request for participation in the academic events or in the conference which are held at the University in the field of physical culture and sports. Please specify the form of your participation (an attendee or a speaker), the period, the duration and the preferred topics.
