The answer of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ekaterina Babelyuk: You can learn Russian language in SPbU within bachelor’s educational programmes or within additional educational programmes.

In 2012/2013 academic year the programme “Russian language for foreigners” is implemented within the bachelor educational programme in the field “Linguistics”. The programme “National Philology”, presupposing Russian language and literature training, is implemented within the bachelor’s educational programme in the field “Philology”.  To be enrolled to the above-mentioned educational programmes foreign citizens take entrance examinations in oral-written form in Russian language.

Bachelor’s educational programmes at SPbU are instructed in the Russian language.

Information on admission of foreign citizens to SPbU in 2013 will be published on the official website of the Admission Committee SPbU in February-March 2013.
