Application and Scholarship

Hello. But right now I am studying in my final year of bachelor’s degree studies in Turkey. I have a few questions for you. 1) I saw in your application list that the TÖMER certificate is required in the foreign languages section. I have a Turkish proficiency TÖMER C1 certificate. If you want a higher level, I can also provide TÖMER C2 certificate. However, I do not have an English certificate yet. I plan to take it after 5 months. 2) I would like to apply to SPbU for a master’s degree in International Relations (English) programme. Do you have any scholarship programs at SPbU? 3)When will the application dates start? I will wait for your answer. Your sincerely

Thank you for your interest in St Petersburg University.

International applicants have a right to be accepted for study at St Petersburg University both on the government-funded places within the framework of the quota established by Decree No. 2150 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 18.12.2020 and places under contracts for the charged educational services.

For academic year 2024/25, the application period for the government-funded basis is from 15.11.2023 to 23.02.2024, and for the fee-paying (contractual) basis it is from 15.04.2024 to 21.06.2024.

The required documents and applications are accepted in digital format via the Applicant’s Personal Account. The admissions tests are held online in the form of a competitive selection of documents (portfolio). In the list of programmes open for admissions, the titles of the admissions tests point at the programmes of admissions tests.

As article 3.6 of the admissions test programme for master’s degree programme «International Relations (in English)» indicates, TÖMER (B1 and higher) certificate shall be evaluated with 10 points.

Please check article 2.2 for the full list of documents that may be provided as confirmation of the applicant’s proficiency in English including language certificates and documents from educational organizations. Take notice that the applicant shall obtain zero points for their portfolio, should there be no language proficiency confirmation provided.
