ERANET PLUS law student from Kraków

Published Date:

Question: Hello,
I would like to apply for the Eranet Plus programme and choose your university.
The only problem is that the whole website of Law Department is in Russian and I understand just a little (I can read and understand a lot because Polish is a bit similar).
My question is, are there any courses taught in English in Law Department or is student obliged to speak Russian?
With kind regards.

The answer of Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs Ekaterina Babelyuk:

Thanks for your letter and interest to Saint-Petersburg University.

Following your request I would like to inform you that the list of courses which are available for exchange students is indicated in our Academic Offer. This list is preliminary (it is the same for all partner-universities), but changes which can take place in 2015-2016 will not be significant.

The list of courses at the Law Department can be found below.

Please pay attention that Russian language proficiency at level B2 is strict requirement for exchange students at the Law Department.

Please note that at the Law Department there are only 2 courses available in English (for Spring semester only) – «International Commercial Arbitration» and «Judicial Review of Government's Actions».

Having any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Head of Academic Mobility Department Anna Porodina (a.porodina@spbu.ru) or Coordinator at the Law Department

Irina Vasilieva (vasiljeva.I@jurfak.spb.ru).
