Study medicine in English

Question: Can I study undergraduate medicine in English at the university? How long is the course? And what is the tuition fee?

The answer of Vice Rector of Academic Affairs Marina Lavrikova: Main educational Specialist's programme "Medical Care" is instructed in Russian. Information about Russian language courses can be found here.
Study duration at the programme is 6 years. Tuition fee for foreign citizens in 2013/2014 is 222000 RUR per academic year. Admission of foreign citizens was available either on contractual (fee-paying) basis or to places financed from the Federal budget, on basis of assignment letters issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Information on admission to SPbU in 2013 can be found here. Rules of admission to SPbU in 2014 will be published on SPbU official website (Admission Committee webpage) not later than 01.02.2014.
