Thank you for your interest in St Petersburg University.
International applicants have a right to be accepted for study at St Petersburg University both on the government-funded places within the framework of the quota established by Decree No. 2150 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 18.12.2020 and places under contracts for the charged educational services.
For academic year 2024/25, the application period for the government-funded basis was from 15.11.2023 to 23.02.2024, and for the fee-paying (contractual) basis it is from 15.04.2024 to 21.06.2024.
In the field of medicine, SPbU offers such bachelor’s and specialist’s degree programmes as «Nursing (in English)», «General Medicine (in English)», «Dental Medicine (in English)» and also above-mentioned programmes implemented in Russian. The full list of bachelor’s and specialist’s degree programmes open for admissions in 2024 is published on the website. Descriptions of the programmes are available here.
The admissions tests are held online in the form of a competitive selection of documents (portfolio). The required documents and applications are accepted in digital format via the Applicant’s Personal Account.
Article 2.1 of the criteria of the admissions test for the above-mentioned programmes implemented in Russian stipulates that an applicant may obtain 10 points for providing documents confirming the fact of studying Russian at preparatory departments and specifying a final grade.
