Russian courses for foreign students

Published Date:

Question: I am a French student and I intend to come to your university to study as an exchange student next year.
But before completing my application form, I just have a question. I read that exchange students can take free russian courses during the exchange period but do these courses give ECTS Credits to the students? And if so, how many?

The answer of Vice Rector of Academic Affairs Ekaterina Babelyuk

Foreign exchange students can attend full-time Russian language course (20 academic hours per week) within the programme on Philology. After successful completion of the course the student receives a certificate with 30 ECTS credits. Also foreign exchange students have an option to be enrolled TO another educational programme (12 academic hours) and attend Russian language course (8 academic hours). After completion of the course the student receives a certificate with 12 ECTS credits. More information can be found here.
