Question: I study psychology in Norway at ntnu, a 6 year program for specialization in clinical psychology. I wish to study at the University of st. Peterburg. my questions are; how can I make this happen and what do I need to do?

The answer of  Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological AffairsMarina Y. Lavrikova:

Foreign citizens are enabled to apply both for state-funded educational places at the SPbU (funded from the budget of Russian Federation) and for fee-paid education.

List of Master programs you can find through the link.

Admission procedure to the fee-paid education includes entry examinations for foreign applicants that usually must be attended in person at the SPbU. List and forms of entry examinations for foreign applicants are available through the link.

Cost of education you can find through the link.

As specified in the Governmental decree of Russian Federation (October, 8 2013 № 891 "On Fixing an Education Quota for Foreign Nationals and Stateless Citizens in the Russian Federation".), foreign citizens are provided an opportunity to take part in an Open Competition for state-funded educational places at the SPbU (funded from the budget of Russian Federation). List of required documents and deadlines for application you can find on the SPbU Admission office web site.

Please make a point that all educational papers should be legalized and have notarized translation into Russian language as well.

Please, point out that most master programs are taught in the Russian language. A preparation course in Russian lasts 10 months (to achieve level B1). More detailed information about the foundation course you can find here.
