Postdoctoral position

Дата публикации:

Question: Dear Professors,

I am a French citizen and I have successfully defended on last year my doctoral dissertation (PhD) in mathematics at Mahidol University in Bangkok where I completed my thesis dissertation on “morphisms of spectral geometries”.
I have also obtained previously a Master of Research (MPhil) on random graph theory at the University of Sheffield in England and a Master in “discrete mathematics” at the University of Strasbourg in France.
I am writing to inquire about the possibility of obtaining a postdoctoral position in your department (or any other suitable position). Indeed, I would be very happy to continue some postdoctoral studies and researches in mathematics in Russia who is a leading country in mathematics and other scientific areas and also a very attractive country with a rich cultural heritage.
I am actually teaching mathematics in my hometown to high-school students and since I became recently interested in the application of quantum groups and quantum information theory to cosmology, I am learning by myself the necessary background on quantum groups with the classical lectures by Pr. Alain Guichardet from Ecole Polytechnique and by Pr. Julien Bichon from Blaise Pascal University in France. However, I am open to any other research proposition since my interests include non-commutative geometry and algebra, eventually linked with category theory and number theory, and also discrete mathematics and applied mathematics.
I remain at your disposal for any complementary information you may request and I thank you for your consideration.
The mathematicians and researchers in charge of the supervision of my PhD thesis :
Pr. Wayne Lawton (american mathematician, expert in operator algebras), Mahidol University in Bangkok, University of Western Australia and National University of Singapore.

Dr. Paolo Bertozzini (italian mathematician, expert in non-commutative geometry), Thammasat University in Bangkok.

Dr. Nguyen Van Sanh (vietnamese mathematician, expert in algebra, editor of my scientific article), Mahidol University, Bangkok.

Pr. Yongwimon Lenbury and Dr. Aram Tangboonduangjit (thai mathematicians in charge of my administrative registration).
Yours sincerely.
The answer of Vice Rector for Research Sergey P. Tunik:

Thank you for your interest in Saint-Petersburg University. I am sorry to inform you that at the moment we are not planning to open a postdoctoral position in the research area of your interest.
