Question:1. Can I transfer from friendship university of Russia to Saint Petersburg state university
and now I study medicine in english program at peoples friendship university

The answer of Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs Ekaterina Babelyuk:
Language of instruction at main educational Specialist’s programme “Medical Care” is Russian.
If you are studying at People’s Friendship University at the expense of the Federal budget on basis of an assignment letter by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, to be transferred to SPbU you need to get a new assignment letter issued by the Ministry.
If you are studying on contractual (fee-paying) basis, you can be transferred to SPbU in accordance with the Regulation for students’ transfer to another higher institution in the Russian Federation (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated 24.02.1998 № 501) and the Rules of Education at Saint-Petersburg University main educational programmes of higher and secondary education. Transfer is possible if course difference at the moment of the transfer will not exceed 10 courses. Transfer will be possible after successful passing of the relevant attestation in SPbU.
You can apply for the transfer before the beginning of the autumn term 2014/2015, 02.06.2014 through 08.08.2014. The meeting of the Central Committee for Transfers and Reinstatements will be held on 29.08.2014. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that you can submit all the necessary documents in electronic form via the Private Office.
